Land Information: 

01. What is Khatiyana? = The land record prepared during the survey with details of the land holdings of one or more land owners based on Mauza is called Khatian. 02. What is CS Record?= CS stands for Cadastral Survey. The first district wise map and land record prepared in our country is called CS record.03. What is SA Khatian? = The khatian prepared after the government promulgated the Zamindari Acquisition and Probate Act in 1950 is SA Khatian Ala. 04. What is Namjari?= The process of registering the name of a new owner of a land through inheritance or purchase or any other process is called Namjari. 05. What is Jama Kharij?= Jama Kharij is created by splitting joint deposit or creating new Khatiya. Transfer of any land of any land belonging to the subject or opening of new land holding or khatian with some land from the distribution khatian is called Jama Hariz. 06. What is Pacha?= The copy of Khasra prepared during land survey which is distributed to the land owner before Tasdik or verification is called Pacha. What is Schedule? = Introductory details of Schedule or land. Details rich in information such as name, khatian no, dag no, amount of land etc. for identifying any land is called Tafsil. 08. What is Mauza?= During the cadastral survey each police station area is divided into several units and each unit is identified with its serial number. Each such unit in the Thana area is called a Mauza. A Mauza consists of one or more villages or parishes. 09. What is Khajna? = The land tax collected from the people for the use of land on an annual basis is called land rent. 10. What is Waqf? = According to Islamic laws, any thing is called Waqf for the purpose of bearing the expenses of Muslim landowners and social welfare institutions. 11. What is Motwalli?= The person who manages and supervises the waqf property cannot transfer the waqf without the permission of the waqf administrator.
